NASME provides Business Development Services for the benefit of her members. Services on offer include but not limited to the followings;

Business Clinic
NASME has put in place free Business Clinic for member enterprises having challenges in their business operations and in need of help. The Clinic is scheduled by appointment and based on needs assessment. Interested members are required to complete and submit a ‘Needs Assessment Form’ and book an appointment to meet with a designated Consultant who will conduct an interview with the enterprise owner to diagnose the business and come up with a check list of recommendations that will assist in stabilizing the business operations. Entrepreneurship & Business Management Training
NASME conducts regular training programs on entrepreneurship and management subjects to educate members on various business matters. Also, some NASME member institutions offer training programs on regular basis and interested members can participate at discounted cost. Accounting & Financial Services
A major challenge to small business operators is how to keep regular and up to date financial records of business transactions. Reason is that most entrepreneurs lack basic book-keeping skills and the cost of employing or maintaining an accountant or auditor is quite high. Capacity Building

CAC Business Registration
NASME has established a good working relationship with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to facilitate registration procedure and filling of annual returns for MSMEs. Members who need assistance in this regard can contact NASME Lagos Secretariat.

Corporate & Income Tax Registration
Many small enterprises operate in the informal sector of the economy and do not pay tax. Payment of taxes and levies is a key statutory obligation of a registered business enterprise and they are expected to file annual tax returns with Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).’NASME members are encouraged to pay their taxes and levies as at when due. Business operators are not aware of tax exemptions and other tax benefits they are entitled to

NAFDAC Product Registration
The National Agency for Food Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has established a ‘Small Business Support Desk’ at their Lagos office to assist MSMEs looking to register their products and Production Facilities with the agency. NASME has direct contact with NAFDAC officials and facilitate members’ application with the agency. Members requiring assistance should contact NASME Secretariat for details. SONCAP Registration
Total Health Trust Insurance Scheme
NASME has in place a health Insurance Scheme with Total Health Trust for benefit of members. The scheme is affordable and enable members to cover their families and employee under the insurance scheme.
